We're so excited that we've had the opportunity to refresh our identity to fit with our ambitious growth plans. Here's what we did…

THE CHALLENGE:

You've heard all the stories about the shoemaker's shoes! We've been so busy Firestarting our client's brands that any spare time for our own was as rare as a dancing piranha.

And the challenge didn't stop there… with so many ideas, creative minds and potential directions, how could we pour everything into a single powerful and cohesive brand that everyone in the team owned a stake in?

Plus, we wanted the brand to be bold. But not brash. Meaningfully creative. Not crazy. Yep, the brief to ourselves was for a brave, larger-than-life, ingenious brand that still looks considered, and even classy when it needs to. Hmmm… our own brand was proving to be our most challenging yet!

THE SPARK:

No surprises here… for us the spark literally WAS a spark! Or a match. Or indeed anything that starts a fire.

Taking this further, we loved the thought of starting fires where its physically impossible – space for example, or under the sea. This inspired our astronaut and mermaid. The astronaut swiftly became our hero. A representation of our clients – launching something incredible. Often into the unknown. Venturing further than anyone else.

THE RESULT:

Well, we’re still fine-tuning. After all, a brand is never quite finished. Instead it should be alive. Ever flexing, growing and evolving with your business.
